21 | What the hell was the Satanic Panic? ...from the POV of preachers' kids
We weren’t so much aware of it when it was happening…but, boy, are we now. The Satanic Panic of the 1980s and 1990s has reached almost iconic status for news-lovers, counterculture followers, true crime fiends, and so-called backslidden Christians peering through the looking glass of time and space.
That was a fancy way to say this week, Brittany and Tiffany are talking about all the ways Satanic Panic influenced our young impressionable lives through the lens of growing up PK’s…preachers’ kids.

This episode of What the Hell?! was recorded before the horrific act of injustice through the police murder of George Floyd in Minnesota. This is a time, as it always is, to amplify black voices, for non-Black communities to unlearn all the ways we are complicit in racism, and raise a generation of anti-racists beneath us to recognize Black lives matter and behave as such.
